X meeting of the Working Group on Development of State Financial Control (Audit) Standards for SAIs of the CIS member states, Bishkek city (Kyrgyz Republic)

The meeting chaired by the Member of the Accounts Committee of Kazakhstan Konstantin Plotnikov was attended by the representatives of Supreme Audit Institutions of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Russia.
 
During the meeting issues of updating the Glossary of Terms used in State Financial Control (Audit) Standards were discussed.
 
The draft Standard “Ethical requirements, principles and standards of behavior for the employees of Supreme Audit Institutions of the CIS member states” (hereinafter - Standard) was considered.
 
In addition, concepts and structures of the draft documents on issues of informational interaction among SAIs of CIS member states, conduction of audit of investments and quality control of joint control and expert-analytical activities (audit) were presented and discussed.
 
Following the results of the meeting members of the Working Group from the SAIs of Kyrgyzstan and Belarus were requested to send the agreed drafts of the Glossary of Terms and the Standard to the SAI Kazakhstan to submit them for consideration of the Governing Board of the SAIs of the CIS Member States.
 
For information:
Working Group on Development of State Financial Control (Audit) Standards for SAIs of the CIS member states was established by the decision of the X Session of the Governing Board of Supreme Audit Institutions of the CIS Member States which was held in September 2010 in Yerevan city (Republic of Armenia).
The Accounts Committee has been chairing the Working Group since the day if its establishment.
