The meeting with the World Bank experts took place at the Accounts Committee

Konstantin Plotnikov, the Member of the Accounts Committee and the heads of the structural units took part in the meeting, and it was held within the preparation by the World Bank experts of the assessment of public financial management performance in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
 
The main tasks and functions of the Accounts Committee, audit planning and conduction peculiarities, risk management system using, informational technologies application, issues of recommendation development to the audited entities as well as independence, transparency and openness of the Accounts Committee activity were discussed. 
 
Views on preliminary assessment of the republican budget draft, submission of the Accounts Committee Opinion over the Report of the Government on Execution of the Republican Budget to the Parliament, as well as the peer review on compliance with the international standards requirements which has been carrying out by the Estonian Supreme Audit Institution experts were exchanged.
 
The special attention was paid to the main issues of execution of the republican budget including ineffective budget funds using, underperformance by the budget program administrators and the quasi-public sector entities.

Besides, the issues of the advanced training of the public audit and financial control bodies’ employees, certification of the state auditors were considered.
 
At the end of the meeting the parties expressed the readiness for the further cooperation with the aim of effectiveness of budget funds using and prevention of financial violations.
